Kiniro Mosaic – Compilation 1

Hiya everybody, Sayori here again. Sorry that this release took so long.

Surprisingly, the first “compilation” of Kiniro Mosaic took longer than I had anticipated.

Plus, I had the constant worry of finishing my finance course stalking me from behind my back, so it dragged me down further. I finally finished it now, so I can now proceed with a more “normal” schedule. Compared to 4koma’s, “normal” manga series can be done much easier.

Or just read it on my online reader. DDL’s will be up two hours later.

Edit: Gah. I knew I’d goof somewhere. Crap. Page 16. Kokeshi dolls. My bad. Err, I’ll v2 it, if people are SUPER TRULY CONCERNED that it’ll affect their lives in a very drastic manner. Otherwise screw it.

Wikipedia: Kokeshi are Japanese dolls, originally from northern Japan. They are handmade from wood, have a simple trunk and an enlarged head with a few thin, painted lines to define the face. The body has a floral design painted in red, black, and sometimes yellow, and covered with a layer of wax. One characteristic of kokeshi dolls is their lack of arms or legs. The bottom is marked with the signature of the artist.

In regards to your comment about the chapter divisions, assuming this series is like the other 4-koma I have read, then the pages with the big, half-page images are the beginnings of each chapter. So you have chapters 1-4 in this compilation, starting on pages 3, 9, 17, and 25. Hope that helps.

Ah, I see. Thanks for letting me know. I had a feeling that it’d be that too, but then the first “part” would’ve been too short.

Regardless, I think calling it “Compilation 1” was a suitable alternative, and I think I’ll continue to do it this way.

I just didn’t think it’d make much sense if a volume had like 10+ chapters or something. Then again, this is my first time doing a 4koma.
