Happy black out day! As everyone should know, today multiple websites are staging a black out, in protest of SOPA and it’s less known cousin PIPA. You’ve probably heard the rant to go talk to your local member of congress a million times, so I’m going to talk about something slightly different.
If you are a non American, you can still attempt to put pressure on them to shelve this. The best way to do this is to contact your local (in Canada’s case) member of parliament, or attempt to contact the office of the minister of foreign affairs. By showing these groups of people that Canadians don’t like the idea of Americans censoring Canadian material, they in turn will feel pressured to contact their friends in the states. This places not only national, but international pressure on the United States Congress to halt both of these bills.
Remember: If these pass, then scanlation is done. No questions asked, anyone, at any time, can shut down any scanlation group. It will be a piece of cake for them to do so.
Cheers,
CycloBenzene

Was “piece of cake” intentional? Nice pun.
Completely intentional, of course! I was even tempted to talk about it would be as easy as pie.
