My Little Sister is Among Them! Section 3 & Ikoku Meiro no Croisee Partie 9.1 – 9.2 (2009)

As promised, here is the next Section of My Little Sister is Among Them! (aka Kono Naka).

You can download the release here, or read it on our online reader here. Batoto will be up in 10ish hours.

.

Shougo’s name is now officially renamed to Syogo as per character intro given in the tank.

Er, you’ll see that intro when I redo the Prologue later, since I have to do the tank covers and whatnot too.

Also, the page number starts from 081 mainly because Section 3 starts there in the tank.

With that said, if anybody could suggest a good telephone font, please do, I hate using the current one.

.

I am also in need for typesetters and redrawers. Without them, the releases will continue to be slow.

Honestly, if you look at the roster now, it’s quite pitiful. Really. Most of everybody left or disappeared.

And since I’m starting to not really care anymore, I’m really just stooping down to translating only.

I’d rather save the time it takes for me to clean and typeset, etc. for other stuff more important in life.

.

Anyways, since Ikoku Meiro no Croisee Partie 9.1 – 9. 2 (2009) FINALLY has a proof after like, two months, I’ll release it asap.

Update: Ikoku Meiro no Croisee Partie 9.1 – 9.2 (2009) is out. Yeah. Got it done already.

Download it here, or read it online here.

.

Update: E has been dropped. I’ve never really felt too attached to the series, and I just don’t have time for it.

just wanted to check, but in the “suffix lesson” page of My Little Sister is Among Them! Section 3, did you mean to use -sama? cause im pretty sure -sama is not used casually. the suffix you described seems more like -san than it does -sama. From what i know, -san is the all-purpose general suffix you can use when talking to people with the english equivalent of Mr., Mrs, or Ms. -sama is more for people of great importance or talking with maximum respect like a servant talking to their master or for talking to royalty.

    • Sayori says:

You need to be more experienced with Japanese to understand the complete usage of -sama.

-sama isn’t used casually. If I mentioned that it was, it was probably from lack of better wording.

The suffix implie a more closer-relationship if used in various contexts, which -shi, does not provide.

Really, for the sake of simplicity, yes, you can think of -sama as you think of it now.

The specifics of the usage of -sama really goes a long way, which is kind of hard to explain.

It’s one of those things where once you’ve done Japanese for a long, long time, you just know the full implications of its usage.

If you want the stripped down version, -sama implies that two parties have some sort of relation that is close in some fashion, or could potentially be close in some fashion (since if one person meets the other for the first time, they have no relation to begin with).

-shi implies that the two parties have a sort of relation that is not close (it may primarily be subordinate-only), such as a very strict business relationship.

You can probably use -sama in all situations, however, people may use -shi when they’re clearly trying to indicate a non-close, possibly temporary relation.

It all boils down to context and the usage, including the frequency of it and the parties involved.

Aww…. E was my favorite manga series of all time. No, that’s Arachnid but E is definitely in my top 50!

    • Sayori says:

I don’t have the time to work on E anymore, and with the lack of members, I’m cutting down on projects I don’t really feel attached to.

      • .... says:

Wait, you didn’t sense my sarcasm? Come on what was that series about anyway? Fanservice for some non existing character on your desktop that keeps on whining? I’d rather have a mouse and a keyboard then to tell her to open my (18+) folder. I can understand u didn’t feel attached to it since there is nothing there.

  • nasakenai says:

Thanks for sticking with Ikoku meiro. I vote for it then.
Maybe you could put a “recruiting staff” announcement on the credits page, to appeal to those who read your releases from somewhere else not knowing of this website.

    • Sayori says:

That idea doesn’t really work since most people don’t read credits pages anyway.

      And vote counted.

  • Eustia says:

wow , things in the staff r pretty bad , but i hope u can get through it , thx for the chapter.

  • Anonymous says:

Just saying, but you can probably request assistance from /a/.

    • Sayori says:

I’d prefer that the members who joined were unaffiliated with anybody else, and actually had little to no experience.

I like working with newbies. They’re usually a nicer bunch of people.

Thanks… this manga still makes me wonder where it is going. [lil’ sis )

      Me too ;o

Just read this is getting an anime in July, damn i was so shocked. Amazing what fanservice with a rushed plot can do!

        • .... says:

Well it is actually going to be based on the light novel which might cause the plot to be less rushed but I haven’t read them so idk.

Wanted to try html but if it failed it would look failish so I’ll pass.

Looking forward to Kuttsukiboshi OVA’s Part 2 yet?? After 1 year of delay I am itching all over! W-wait ignore that one. I’m in a strange mood today so i’m posting random things on random places on the random internet. I’m sorry.

          • Sayori says:

Yes, it’s based on the light novel, not the manga.

            • .... says:

Are you gonna continue the manga despite this? I know for sure that I’ll stop reading this series when the anime begins just like papa no iukoto… and high shool DxD or w/e it was and kamisama dolls.

  • Veneficae says:

on Page 8, “Kumagorou gave birth to a single girl during some time with another woman…,” technically a male doesn’t give birth. Therefore the correct English term would be “fathered” instead of “gave birth to”
