Arachnid – Chapter 23

This time, we bring you to Alice’s Adventures in Assassin Land Chapter 23.

After some discussion with my group, I am making some huge changes effective immediately.

From now on, our primary two forms of release will be IRC XDCC and our online reader.

MediaFire DDLs will come 8 hours after it is posted as released on our website.

However, if you visit our IRC channel, our topic will have the MF DDL link immediately for you to use.

Batoto releases will come at noon the next day, or at 10 PM the same day, EST.

This is being done in an effort to convince more people to drop by our channel, say thanks, and chat.

However, I’m sure many of you are unfamiliar with IRC and probably think it’s a pain to use.

That is why I have decided to revive my pre-configured, very-easy-to-use web-based IRC client.

All you need to do is go to that IRC page, read the instructions carefully, and then click Connect.

And within seconds, you’ll be connected straight to our IRC channel, no strings attached.

You can then chat, give your thanks, and download this release by just typing in !arach23.

Or if that doesn’t work for whatever reason, the MF DDL link is available in the topic, as I mentioned.

Our online reader releases will be available immediately for viewing, so you don’t have to wait for them.

And that was the copy paste from last release, with a few things changed.

Anyways, on to a more serious, unhappy note.

(Usually I’d make this sound nicer, but I’m dead serious this time.)

I took a vacation. Disappeared off the face of scanlation. I honestly needed the break.

Now that I’ve been on my extensive break, I can say that I enjoyed the free time away from scanlation.

If I haven’t mentioned already, scanlation’s a lot like jail. It’s easy to get in, but not as easy to get back out.

For a person in a high position like me, I can’t just be like, “oh, group’s closed, everybody go away now.”

That’s not the same for your everyday member; they can just disappear without a trace, and nobody will care.

So with all the time I’ve invested into scanlation, I can’t just drop-it-and-leave.

At this point in time, I will likely release at turtle speed, so just be patient. Sorry about that.
