As some of you probably know by now, the artist for the Caterpillar series has sadly passed away at the young age of 27.
Shinya will soon be issuing a formal public notice of the series being axed, since it no longer has an artist to maintain it.
I dropped the series after Chapter 1 so it doesn’t particularly concern me, but I guess I was lucky that I didn’t go on with it.

I didn’t know that Artist of Caterpillar has passed away. That’s a pity.
Does anyone know what happened to them?

The company subdivision which works behind Arachnid and Caterpillar (working under Square Enix) did not specify exactly. The editors had simply mentioned that he had passed away and that Shinya would soon announce the cancellation of the Caterpillar series (instead of having it continued).

Speaking of which, would it be possible for you guys to translate the rest of the Caterpillar series if you, by any chance, get stumble across the RAWs?
Also, what about Dragonia?
I’m pretty sure Caterpillar raws are available somewhere on the Internet. But I have no intention on doing a series that’s been axed. So unfortunately, it’s a no.
As for Dragonia, I wanted to do it in the past, but decided not to since it didn’t seem all that special. Wouldn’t have been worth the effort altogether.
