    Thanks for the releases so far. Sucks that you guys are lacking in staff. That seems to be happening a lot lately. Can’t blame people though, lots of fan constantly whine without any thanks whatsoever.

    I’d join if I had any skill and am not as much of a procrastinator as I am. I’m already procrastinating other things as I write this post. O_O

    Thanks for the chapter. On page 172 you have a comment asking who the female in the middle of the image is. It’s likely his daughter. He had a wife and daughter in her teens. Based on what I’ve seen in other works and images she is most likely wearing a school uniform as that would be fairly formal and is often black. The bow is what sets it off as likely to be a uniform.

    Thanks for the translations, it’s been a while and I was glad I could read almost all volume 21 in one go.
    About who’s the girl in chapter 169 at the funerals, it’s Genda’s daughter (he was divorced for 4 years and someone said he almost never saw his daughter after the divorce), so there you have it!

      You’re welcome. I’m just trying to catch up to the latest volume, since Vol. 22 is already out :). Though, we’re still pending raws.

      Thanks for clarifying about who she is. I either never seen her before, or it would have been so long back, I would not have remembered.

      I initially thought she was his sister, since they shared a similar facial build and hair colour. Daughter works just as well too, although she does look tall and older? Anyhow.

    I’m so far into this manga I can’t stop reading, especially because it’s nearing end game. Thanks a lot for the high quality scanlations, that stuff takes forever.

      You’re welcome. I don’t think the series will be ending any time soon. The serialization earns a lot of money for the Japanese publisher, so I doubt they would allow the author and artist to just end it. If anything, expect it to finish (earliest) in 1-2 years from now. Consequently, the yield would only be 12-24 chapters, so to speak, as it is a monthly serialization. We’ll just have to see, won’t we?

        That’s good to hear :D Since the latest arc was all about getting her completely “out” of the underworld it looked like it was ending. Ofc, I’m glad to hear it’s still doing well and probably won’t end with this arc.

          Note that this is only me speculating. I don’t know for sure. Perhaps this arc or the next could be the end. I wouldn’t know.

          I just assumed it would continue on for a long while longer, since popular series are usually kept alive, regardless, for profit.

          UDDUP has been in the works since ’05 I believe, so it’s not unexpected if it does end soon.
