      You could attempt to use other clients instead. ChatZilla, mIRC, etc. There are many out there, and it’s a permanent solution. Perhaps Mibbit doesn’t like where you’re connecting from.

      Embedded Mibbit is just meant to be an easy way to connect, for those who have no idea what IRC is. Our XDCC Java IRC may work, though, since it’s hosted on on-site.

      Google for some IRC clients, and test some of them. The server is IRC.IRCHighway.net, and the channel is #cake.
