A slightly earlier Blood Alone release because it was super short.

Hey, thanks for the Helck omakes.
Not sure if you have noticed, but the IRC thing of the website hasn’t been working.
IRCHighway moved its servers elsewhere and Mibbit hasn’t caught up yet. I’m not sure when it will.
Thanks for the new chapter of Blood Alone!
Is this series still being released? I thought I remembered that the serialization got cancelled, but that the author was going to keep releasing chapters on his own, like doujinshi?
Er, we’re not planning to drop the series, if that’s what you’re wondering.
If you’re talking about its publication status, the mangaka got discontinued by the publisher he was signed with, so he ended up turning it into a doujinshi series instead.
Volume 11 is the first doujinshi release for Blood Alone, but it’s been quite a while since that came out and there hasn’t been much news coming from the mangaka.
It’s very much possible that he’s sidelining the series to focus on the other series that’s still being published. After all, work’s work, right?
At the moment, I’d like to think that the series hasn’t been discontinued, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it has been shelved and left open-ended.
There isn’t much of a reason for the mangaka to continue Blood Alone when he has other paid series to deal with.
Yeah, I was asking about it’s publication status, so thanks for the updated information.
While we can hope that the mangaka continues to release new chapter of the series, as you said it wouldn’t be surprising if he left it alone.
That sounds rather punny :|.
But yes, I’m not surprised if it gets shelved due to work. Since it’s no longer being published, he has no monetary incentive to continue the series unless he gets it picked up again (nobody really makes money selling doujinshi, since it can’t beat the pay from an actual job). Plus, it’s already gone through two different publishers.
We’ll finish up with volume 11, and then just note it as Completed until proven otherwise.
Once again: Thank you.
You’re welcome :)
