Hello, I just wanted to say thanks because you picked up this serie :D
You’re welcome :D
Thanks so much for picking up Blume! Your editing was great. I’m pretty excited to read future chapters from this group. :D
Thank you for the compliment, and you’re welcome!
Thank you for picking this up! I thought all hope was lost when it came to this series.
Haha :D
You’re welcome!
Thanks!
You’re we lcome!
I just wanted to let you know about the Gesellschaft Blume German name, the one you chose (Ezelkil Vanderschleim) is pretty accurate, another definition you CAN try Ezekiel else there is not really a german name for “Ezerukiru” and Vanderschleim hits it nearly perfect. Thanks for the release and good work!
Very well, we’ll use Ezekiel from now on since it seems to be a real name.
Why don’t you consider joining our IRC and becoming our resident German? We need a German now :D.
Edit: Name changed in the reader and DDL :)
I have to nitpick on this one. His name should be “Ezechiel Wanderschleim”. “Ezechiel” being the German writing of “Ezekiel” and “Wanderschleim” means basically “wandering slime”.
It wasn’t stated anywhere that his name means wandering slime, though.
The -schleim was copied off of the MC’s name, which was established as Goldschleim. Vander was just whatever I thought it sounded like. I’m not even sure if the MC’s name was established correctly. His name is “Toruza Godorushuraimu”.
Does Ezechiel sound like “Ezerukiru”? And does “Wander” sound like “Vandaa”?
“Does Ezechiel sound like “Ezerukiru”?”
Ezechiel whould be:
E – like in “End”
Z – like in Japanese “TSu”
E – like in “End”
CH – like the first sound in “huge”
I – like in “bEE”
EL – like the letter “L”
There are less common ways to write his name, like “Hesekiel” which is much closer in pronounciation to the English one, with that soft “ese” and the “k” sound instead of the “ch”.
It’s an old Hebrew name, only God fucking knows how it should be pronounced I guess. “Ezechiel” is the most common way to write it in German though.
“And does “Wander” sound like “Vandaa”?”
Yes, German “W” is pronounced like English “V”, and “-er” at the end merges into some kind of open “aa” sound.
Okay, well I’ve basically settled on a name, so I think we’re good for now :)
AWESOME!!! =03! Always nice to see an interesting series pulled from the purgatory =03. Thanks a lot for the translations guys(and gals) =0D!
You’re very welcome!
